Dance Movement Therapy

On April 12th, 2025, a vibrant and healing one-day Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) workshop was conducted at Lions Club, Kowdiar, Trivandrum, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Facilitated by Krishnendu B.S.,Dance therapy practitioner, the workshop was exclusively designed for women first-time mothers, doctors, homemakers, and working professionals seeking to reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner strength through movement. This immersive session blended creative expression with therapeutic intent, offering participants a safe, non-judgmental space to explore self-awareness, emotional release, and body-based resilience practices. Guided through structured movement exercises, reflective sharing, and rhythm-based group activities, attendees experienced profound shifts in mood, energy, and self-perception. The workshop emphasized the science-backed benefits of DMT. With no prior dance experience required, the session was widely appreciated for its inclusivity, sensitivity, and empowerment. On May 10th, 2025, an intensive and transformative one-day Clinical Hypnotherapy workshop was held at Hotel Prasanth, PMG Junction, Trivandrum, led by the esteemed Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Hypnotherapist Dr. Jini Gopinath. Designed for mental health professionals, counselors, educators, students, and wellness practitioners, the workshop offered a unique blend of evidence-based theory and immersive hands-on learning. Workshop on Management of Digital Addiction

On May 31st, 2025, a focused and impactful one-day workshop on the Management of Digital Addiction was held in Trivandrum, facilitated by Dr. Sandheesh P.T., a specialist in digital wellness and behavioral health. Tailored for adolescents, adults, parents, educators, psychologists, counselors, and healthcare professionals, the workshop addressed the growing concern of digital overuse through a structured, evidence-informed approach.

The session explored key areas such as internet and mobile addiction, social media and reels dependency, gaming and porn addiction, and effective management techniques grounded in psychological and behavioral science. On Feb 26, 2025 a dynamic and insightful workshop on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was conducted by Zen Mind. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Krishnan Gireesh and led by Dr. Chandar Kumar, a seasoned ABA expert, the session brought together educators, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and mental health enthusiasts.

Tailored for professionals and students alike, the workshop offered a structured and evidence-based exploration of core ABA principles and their real-world applications. Key learning areas included behavior modification strategies, reinforcement methods, skill development techniques, and the implementation of ABA across diverse settings. On May 3rd, 2025, a soulful and experiential workshop on Creative Art Therapy was held at Panfilo Edu Solutions, Trivandrum. Guided by Asha Suresh,renowned Art Therapist, Corporate Coach, and founder of Aash Creations,the session invited participants to explore the healing power of art as a tool for emotional expression and mental well-being.

Designed for individuals from all walks of life, regardless of artistic experience, the workshop embraced the philosophy “let your emotions paint, not your words.” It created a safe and supportive space for participants to channel inner thoughts and feelings through colors, shapes, and spontaneous creativity.

Through a two-hour immersive session, attendees engaged in therapeutic art practices rooted in principles of medical and psychiatric social work. With all materials provided and no prior art skills required, the session empowered participants to process emotions, reduce stress, and enhance self-awareness using non-verbal expression.

3 Day Workshop on Trauma-Informed Psychological Intervention Training

On October 23–25, 2025, a profound and skill-building Trauma-Informed Psychological Intervention Training unfolded at TSSS, Vellayambalam, Trivandrum. Facilitated by Syam K Ravindran, Clinical Psychologist, the three-day intensive workshop invited mental health professionals to engage with trauma care rooted in compassion, clarity, and clinical insight.

Built for practitioners working with diverse populations, the program emphasized understanding trauma not just as an emotional injury, but as a physiological and behavioral experience. Participants explored trauma dynamics, coping features, and PTSD manifestations through an evidence-informed, experiential framework.

On January 2–3, 2026, a deeply engaging two-day workshop on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) was conducted at Trivandrum, bringing together mental health professionals seeking to strengthen their therapeutic presence and relational attunement. Led by Syam K Ravindran, Clinical Psychologist, the training offered an experiential journey into attachment-based psychotherapy and its clinical applications.

Focused on the emotional undercurrents that shape relational patterns, the workshop highlighted how EFT can serve as a powerful tool in helping clients reorganize emotional experiences and cultivate secure connections.
